Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce Unveils Women's Leadership Collective with Inaugural Women in Business Summit
Revelstoke, BC – July 29, 2024 –The Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the launch of the Women's Leadership Collective, a new program developed in collaboration with Maggie Spizzirri of Wild Breathwork. This initiative is dedicated to harnessing the unique spirit and energy of our community by elevating, connecting, empowering, and mentoring women. Our goal is to build a robust network that champions female leadership and economic empowerment.
“We are honored to introduce the Women's Leadership Collective, a program that embodies our commitment to fostering meaningful collaborations, celebrating achievements, and providing continuous learning and mentorship opportunities. Together, we can shape a supportive and inclusive environment where women can thrive and lead with confidence across all generations, from youth to retirees.” said Caroline Lachapelle, Executive Director of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce.
We are excited to announce that our first event will be the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's 2024 Women in Business Summit Series, held right here in Revelstoke. This summit features three 90-minute sessions focused on boosting women’s representation in management, leadership, and boardrooms while addressing compensation gaps.
Held during Canada’s Gender Equality Week, the Women in Business Summit offers insights from influential thought leaders, accomplished entrepreneurs, and business and chamber leaders from across Canada. This event provides a unique opportunity to expand professional networks and discover strategies to advance women in the business world. Each session will be followed by hive-mind conversations over lunch. By attending all three sessions, participants will earn a certificate of participation.
“The Women's Leadership Collective is more than just a program; by uniting women from diverse backgrounds and experiences, we are creating a powerful network that not only lifts individuals but also enriches our entire community. We look forward to seeing the incredible impact it will have on women's leadership and economic empowerment in Revelstoke and beyond." said Maggie Spizzirri, Founder of Wild Breathwork”
