Kat’s metalsmithing journey began in 2006 when she took a jewellery making class in Pushkar, India. She continued to hone her craft throughout travels in Southeast Asia, the mountains of Mexico, and the eastern shores of Canada. In Kat’s designs there has always been a stylistic synergy between experience and expression, a melding of tradition and freshness, and above all a keen eye for beauty.
