Cascadia Credit Union (formerly Revelstoke Credit Union) has been one of British Columbia’s trusted financial partners since its inception on September 18, 1953. Cascadia Credit Union started in the kitchen of Erma Todd's home at 206 Sixth Street East here in Revelstoke and since that day in 1953, has grown from the initial $35.00 in assets to over $200 million. The cooperative business model remains popular here and the business has flourished. Insurance and Wealth Management offices have since been opened and serve over 5,000 Members in Revelstoke and the surrounding area. On July 1st, 2025, Revelstoke Credit Union merged with Osoyoos Credit Union and Summerland Credit Union to form Cascadia Credit Union.
