Whitewater Rafting & Kayaking Guides - Trip Leaders & Instructors
Liquid Lifestyles is hiring Whitewater Rafting & Kayaking Trip Leaders & Instructors for the 2026 season.
We operate out of Clearwater BC and run trips on the Thompson River and the Clearwater River in Wells Gray Provincial Park. We use a variety of rafts; Oar frame rafts, Cat rafts, and paddle rafts and run every type of trip from a family-friendly float to one-on-one guided kayak trips through Class IV rapids.
We are looking for an experienced instructor and guide with proven experience leading courses in whitewater river activities.
Qualities:
Strong Leadership
Able to work unsupervised and part of a team
Precise safety and risk assessment
Clear and concise communication
Friendly and engaging
Certifications:
Senior or Trip Leader Guide License
Swiftwater Rescue Technician
Wilderness First Aid 50hr. (80hr. Preferred)
5 Years of Whitewater Kayak Guiding Experience
Class IV Whitewater Kayaking or Rafting Experience
Class IV Drivers License
Responsibilities:
Performing tasks with strict safety protocols
Guiding small kayak courses for beginner to intermediate
Support guest services with waivers and gear fitting
Gear and equipment maintenance
Lead guests in safety demonstrations and drills
Creating a positive guest experience
Reporting to the Operations Manager
