ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Sales and Reservations Manager, you will oversee daily guest reservations, manage communication with local and international partners, and lead a small team of seasonal reservation agents in the winter. You will work closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager and Assistant Controller year-round, including assisting with operational coverage during the summer (approximately 2 days/week).

• Manage passenger reservations via telephone, e-mail and on-line platforms,
• Deliver professional, helpful customer service from first inquiry to final drop-off,
• Coordinate reservations and daily scheduling with the operations team and drivers,
• Recruit, hire, train, and lead a small team of seasonal reservation agents in the winter,
• Build partnerships with local accommodation and tourism providers,
• Work collaboratively with the General Manager, Operations Manager and Assistant Controller on planning and improving operations,
• Support operations two (2) days per week during the off-season period, and provide vacation coverage for the Operations Manager during the summer holidays,
• Monitor and report on booking trends, passenger feedback and system improvements

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Located in Revelstoke, BC
• Customer service or reservations experience (tourism/transportation background a plus)
• Strong communicator and relationship builder – local and global
• Confident managing a team during the busy winter season
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point),
• Familiar with ZAUI Reservation platforms,
• Strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Calm, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
• Self motivated and driven with a passion for challenge and growth, both personal and professional.
• Knowledge of the Revelstoke area and seasonal travel patterns is an asset
