Apprentice Plumber/HVAC Tech - Revelstoke BC

Wage Range $26/Hr +

As an apprentice at Velocity Plumbing & Heating you will acquire a diverse set of skills that constantly is growing and adapting to best fit our customers needs. Apprentices with assist technicians perform installation and repairs/maintain a wide variety of plumbing and heating systems and will gain a strong understanding of industry related codes and regulations. Apprentices will be expected to maintain a level of professionalism, organization and cleanliness throughout all aspects of their employment. Apprentices are dispatched daily along with journeyman technicians and supported through a crm software which contains job reports, forms and notes for each individual job. As an apprentice you will work under the supervision and direction of a senior/journeyman technician.

Responsibilities Include;

• Attend and complete jobs as per daily schedule
• Takes direction from senior technicians.
• Document and communicate findings and work completed/outstanding.
• Detailed time and materials lists daily
• Maintaining truck inventory levels from warehouse stock
• Tool tracking and maintenance per logs
• Minor vehicle maintenance
• Conducts in a manner aligned with employee code of conduct.
• Works towards company vision.
• Attend trade school upon completion of term required hours.

Experience

• 1 Year Minimum Plumbing Experience

Skills

• Power tools operation
• Mechanical aptitude 
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Safe work practices, both individually and team
• Lift up to 50lbs
