Position

We require telephone operators (seasonal, temporary, part-time), who are able to clearly and professionally communicate with our customers and field questions related to our services and operations, and to support with booking on-demand and scheduled rides.

This is a standby position and can be worked from home.

• Hours worked: Starting at $20.00 per hour, pro-rata for all time spent actively working (on phone calls or booking rides)
• Standby baseline: One hour of pay for every three hours on standby (i.e shift duration divited by 3)

Shifts are flexible

Work Hours: Phone operators may start at 4pm and finish by 2am (varies by the day) - shift hours vary (e.g. a shift could be three hours, or a shift could be eight hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and the public in a courteous and professional fashion while on shift or in Revy Rides uniform.
• Maintain a presentable appearance and uniform while representing Revy Rides in a public forum.
• Answer telephone enquiries to Revy Rides' business phone number
• Complete rider bookings and communicating pricing as required when they are received by telephone to Revy Rides' business phone number, in line with current Revy Rides services and pricing
• Communicate progress, issues, and completion of tasks and shifts with management.

Pre-Requisites

• An ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
• An ability to interact with and use our services dashboard for booking of rides
