Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the grocery store, including staff supervision, inventory, and scheduling
Manage and lead a team of dedicated staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships
Implement and uphold quality control standards for all products.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Train and supervise grocery department staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Create and execute strategies to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Provide support at the checkout area when needed, cashier operations and assisting customers.
Ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are neatly organized, following display guidelines.
Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
Assist with merchandising, promotions, and store displays
Requirements:
Previous experience in grocery stores, specifically in management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of inventory management and procurement.
Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) and basic computer systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
