Position Summary
Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher to support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness and organization. This role is responsible for washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and all items used during meal preparation and service to the Executive Chef’s standards. The Dishwasher will also maintain the kitchen's organizational system and execute any cleaning tasks assigned by the cooks, Executive Chef, or the Restaurant Manager. This position requires a basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential. This is an hourly position, with compensation based on experience and qualifications. Position Purpose
The Dishwasher at Eleven Revelstoke Lodge plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and all items used during meal preparation and service according to the Executive Chef’s high standards. This position is responsible for upholding the kitchen’s organizational system, ensuring all kitchen items are clean and properly stored. Additionally, the Dishwasher will execute kitchen cleaning tasks assigned by Senior cooks, Executive Chef, or Restaurant Manager, contributing to a well-maintained and smooth-running kitchen environment.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Use strong organization skills to execute all tasks given by the Managers.
- Able to deliver high quality work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Use strong communication skills to work with the Manager and staff to ensure guests receive the highest standards of food and service.
- Clean the kitchen mats, trash cans and hoods one day a week or as needed.
- Complete kitchen breakdown including but not limited to dishes, wiping down all surfaces, mopping floors and taking out the garbage/recycling.
- Be a flexible team player.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning and organizational standards.
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.

- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure during busy periods.
- Willingness to handle and clean large volumes of dishware and kitchen equipment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
Work Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Dexterity to handle knives, kitchen appliances, and hot surfaces safely.
- Tolerance for working in extreme temperatures, including hot kitchen lines and walk-in freezers.
- Willingness to work in a loud and busy environment with exposure to kitchen machinery, chemicals, and fire.
