EVENT INFORMATION 

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Women in Business Summit Series features three 90-minute sessions focused on boosting women’s representation in management, leadership and boardrooms, while addressing compensation gaps.

With insights from influential thought leaders, accomplished entrepreneurs and esteemed business and chamber leaders from across Canada, we will explore actionable solutions to bridge gender gaps in management roles.

Held during Canada’s Gender Equality Week, this event offers an opportunity to expand your professional network and discover strategies to advance women in the business world. By attending all three sessions, you will earn a certificate of participation.

This session will highlight the importance of creating and sustaining an inclusive culture by implementing policies and practices that lead to better recruitment, retention and development outcomes for women in the workplace.

In 2023, women in Canada earned an average of 78 cents for every dollar earned by men. This session will explore the factors contributing to the ongoing gender pay gap and discuss the necessary actions to achieve pay equity in Canada.
