2026 Revelstoke Municipal Election All-Candidates Forum

PLEASE READ: Forum Format, Rules & Decorum.


Hear from Revelstoke council and mayoral election candidates as they discuss important community issues, share their priorities, and outline their vision for the future. The Chamber has hired a moderator for this event to facilitate a fair and non-partisan forum. 

This forum is designed to help the Revelstoke community learn more about those seeking office and make informed decisions ahead of election day.

Please note: 

The Chamber is a non-partisan organization governed by the Board of Trade Act, any protesting or campaigning cannot occur inside the Community Centre during the all-candidates forum.

  • No signage or buttons will be allowed into the forum. 
  • Other items that could cause disruptions may also be asked to be left outside/removed. 
  • There will be no questions from the floor. 
    • All questions have been pre-selected based on the feedback collected by the Chamber in its all-candidates survey promoted through social media and our member newsletter. 

Live Stream:
The Live candidates forum will be broadcast on the Chambers YouTube channel. This broadcast will be recorded.

This all candidates forum will be moderated by Dan Rogers.

DAN ROGERS


Originally from Victoria and educated in broadcast journalism at BCIT, Dan’s career has primarily focused on communications, marketing, and government relations.

He currently serves as the Revelstoke Chamber's Chamber Development Advisor and is also contracted with the Okanagan Science Centre as Development and Corporate Relations Director.

Dan has over a decade of senior management experience in the Chamber of Commerce network and is the former CEO of the Kelowna Chamber.  He is also currently serving his fourth term on the Canadian Chamber Board of Directors. 

Dan's government experience stems from his fifteen years as an elected official in Prince George, where he served five terms on Prince George City Council. His time on council included three years as Mayor, highlighted by chairing the bid committee that won the rights to host the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Dan has moderated numerous All-Candidate Forums at all three levels of government. The most recent being for the Peachland and Kelowna Chambers for their all-candidates forums during the 2022 Local Government Elections.
