Okanagan College Revelstoke Centre's Settlement Services program is seeking one-on-one English Language tutors to help newcomers to Canada improve their language skills and learn about life in Canada.

Volunteers are paired with one learner and usually meet about once a week for practice sessions. You are provided with easy-to-use digital learning support material to help guide your practice sessions. Students find this opportunity to practice and get feedback valuable in their journey to improve their language skills, and to prepare for English language tests required for residency and citizenship applications. 

Volunteers are required to complete an intake process that includes a current criminal record check. We are seeking volunteers who are committed to participate for at least six months. Ongoing support is provided.
