Hey everyone! 🖤

We have a new event in the works, and we’re very excited to finally share it with you…

🎬 Revelstoke Pride Society is hosting The Rocky Horror Picture Show! 💋

We’re putting together a fun, slightly ridiculous evening featuring a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a costume contest, prop bags, a bar, and plenty of opportunities for audience participation. More event details and ticket info can be found here: https://revelstokepride.ca/rocky/

But before we get there, we need a little help behind the scenes. 😈

Volunteer perk: Everyone who takes on a volunteer task gets a free ticket + prop bag to the event. Day-of volunteers will also have their pre-event meal covered. 🥪✨

We’ve broken the jobs into smaller tasks:

• 🛍️ Prop Bag Supplies (x 2-3 people)
Reach out to local businesses about donating supplies for our prop bags.

• 🏆 Best Dressed Contest Prizes (x 2-3 people)
Reach out to local businesses about donating prizes.

• 📍 Poster Distribution (x 2-3 people)
Pick up some posters, and go put it in locations on the distribution list.

• ✂️ Prop Bag Assembly (x 2-3 people)
Help put together the prop bags once we have all the supplies.

• 🎬 Day-of: Setup (x 2 people) and Main Event (x 2 people)
Help get everything ready before doors open. Help with check-in, prop bags, the costume contest, general event support, etc.

• 🍻 Day-of: Bar / Serve It Right (x 2 people)
Help with bar service. Serve It Right certification required.

Thanks, everyone! We’re excited to bring this one to life, and Rocky Horror definitely isn’t something we can pull off without our volunteer crew. 🖤🪩
